Massachusetts Global Action
MGA was founded after the Boston Social Forum in 2004 and continued the work of the Mass. Anti-Corporate Clearinghouse, the Campaign on Contingent Work, and the North American Alliance for Fair Employment. It operates the encuentro 5 "movement-building space" in Boston's Chinatown, campaigns on water issues, and participates in the pro-immigrant and antiwar movements. It is also an organizer of the Majority Agenda Project.
Open Media Boston
Open Media Boston is an online metro news publication with a progressive editorial stance focusing on the labor and non-profit beats. It was launched in March 2008.
Organizers' Collaborative
OC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that identifies and develops low-cost, replicable technology, software, and trainings that meets the organizing, outreach, and fundraising needs of small nonprofits. OC is comprised of community organizers and technology consultants dedicated to helping nonprofit organizations and community groups integrate technology into their work.
Several organizations are providing the resources that make the conference possible. Important support has been provided by the Haymarket People's Fund.
